So we took Gavin on his first road trip this past weekend. My cousin was getting married in New Jersey so we rented a van with my parents and started off on our adventure. Everything was GREAT!!! Gavin was such a champ the whole time :)
Saturday was the wedding and everything was so beautiful!! They got married at her house outside under big white tents. All middle eastern food at the reception...it was great. However, right after the father gave the bride away Gavin needed to eat so I missed the wedding...not too bad right? Then, right after I ate at the reception, I took Gavin to the van so I could change his diaper. He quickly decided that he would poop all over my new dress...missed the reception!! The little stinker.
Moral of the story: don't just pack extra clothes for baby...pack them for mommy too!! I know there will come a day when I will miss these days...so I am laughing about it :)
